Health & Fire Science Academy students volunteered in their 5th year of "Shirts Off Their Backs". This Fundraising event is an opportunity for fans to win game-worn jerseys off the backs of a Padres player or coach. Proceeds benefit the Padres Foundation youth baseball programs.
Students raised $701 in four innings selling $1 scratchers for the Padres Foundation. A special thanks to our dedicated teachers Natalia Diaz, Matthew Rowland, and Eric Esperon for organizing and chaperoning this successful event. |

Round table industry eventEvery year our students learn about what it's like to have careers in the health care and public service fields. Students select from a panel of speakers and have an opportunity to ask career questions. Every speaker presents to a small group of students for a total of 15 minutes and then students rotate to the next speaker. In this small group discussion ALL students are able to interact with industry partners and professionals.
